Famine is one of the Four Kaiken designs i created at the start of 2022.
As all of them it is heavily inspired by traditional small japanese knives, that i wanted to bring into those very contemporary knives. After all there was no resin stabilized paracord and kydex in japan when kaikens were created.
Famine is a small single edge knife with that classical handle shape which supports every possible knife grip. It propably is ther most classical knife out of the whole series. Designed for everyday work in a kitchen or in the field - combat is a last resort for it. Famine is something that will worce a warrior into mundane work. so distant from glory of the battlefield.
