Atlas is a 3d printed carrying system created to organize gear in your pocket.
It is made from 2 different materials. The outer shell and spacers are made out of PLA, the inner shell out of TPU. Those parts are connected with either paracord or 4mm chicago screws. The PLA side provides much needed rigidity while the TPU is compliant enough that the whole system can match the shape of your body.
Shape and size of the Atlas are designed for it to fit into the front pockets of pants and stay there. Because of that once you have it in your pocket you can acess any gear you have attached to it while it stays inside. It was first developed and created as a way to improve in pocket knife carry - it assures that the knife stays in one place in the pocket, you can position it for the most comfortable draw, and works incredibly smoothly without clips or loops on the outside.
Even though it was created for knives Atlas is a multi functional gear platform that provides four attachment surfaces that work well with screws, paracord, shockcord and are MOLLE compatible. In addition to that you can create pockets by connecting the two pieces together for carrying gear that dosen't have any featuress that will eaisly attach. This is a piece of gear that is only limited by the imagination and ingenuity of it's users.
Because of a popular demand that arouse during the development process Atlas can be outfitted with special clips that turn it into an AIWB platform. Those clips are also availible on the website separatly.
